Nithiin Responds to Controversy Over ‘Adhi Dha Surprise’ Song from Robinhood
Nithiin and Sreeleela are set to make a mark once again with their upcoming project Robinhood, which is gearing up for a grand release this Friday. The film is creating significant buzz during its promotional phase, with a particular focus on a special song titled “Adhi Dha Surprise,” performed by Ketika Sharma. While the song has garnered attention, it has also sparked controversy, particularly surrounding the dance moves and costumes, prompting a wave of online reactions.
Despite facing criticism, some fans have embraced the song, recreating its signature moves in viral reels, contributing to its widespread visibility. Nithiin, however, recently addressed the ongoing controversy in an interview, where he clarified his stance on the matter.
“I was not in the ‘Adhi Dha Surprise’ song. I did not see it being filmed either. After its release, there was both positive and negative feedback. We respect everyone’s opinions. I didn’t focus much on the dance steps when I watched the film. But after seeing the trolls, I understood the controversy. But I hope everything goes well,” Nithiin explained.
The dance choreography, composed by Sekhar Master, has faced backlash from netizens, many of whom criticized the moves as inappropriate. Additionally, the actress’s costumes became a point of contention, further fueling the controversy. The situation escalated when the Telangana State Women’s Commission issued a warning to the industry, urging the avoidance of indecent choreography, threatening strict action if such content continued to be produced.
As Robinhood nears its release, the song remains a hot topic, with Nithiin urging fans and critics alike to respect diverse opinions while hoping for a positive outcome. The film’s promotion continues to gain momentum, and all eyes are on how it will be received upon its grand release.
