Allu Arjun Absent from Tandel Pre-Release Event Due to Health Issues, Naga Chaitanya Opens Up on His Role
Icon star Allu Arjun was notably absent from the pre-release event of the much-anticipated film Tandel, which took place in Hyderabad last night. His absence was explained by his father, producer Allu Aravind, who cited severe gastric issues as the reason for Allu Arjun’s inability to attend.
Tandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is set for release on February 7, 2025. During the pre-release event, Naga Chaitanya shared his thoughts on the project, revealing that he experienced a sense of fear during the final stages of the film’s production. He expressed his gratitude for the support of Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu, recognizing Geetha Arts’ significant contribution to the movie’s success. He also mentioned that Bunny Vasu’s engaging 10-minute narration immediately sparked his interest in the film.
In discussing his role as Tandel Raju, Naga Chaitanya emphasized the contrast between his character and his real-life personality. He credited director Chandoo Mondeti for giving him the time and space needed to prepare for the challenging role, marking their third collaboration together.
Speaking about co-star Sai Pallavi, Naga Chaitanya praised the actress’s immense fan following, describing the admiration she receives as unprecedented.
