Allu Sirish Prepares for Release of ‘Buddy,’ Telugu Cinema’s First Teddy Bear-Themed Film
Allu Sirish is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film, Buddy, a unique fantasy action drama that marks the first-ever Telugu film centered around a teddy bear theme. The recently unveiled trailer has already generated excitement with its promise of exhilarating action and entertainment.
In anticipation of the film’s release, a pre-release press meet was organized today. At the event, Allu Sirish shared his enthusiasm, stating, “The early screenings of Buddy have received a fantastic response from audiences of all ages, including both children and adults. The unexpected appreciation from the mass audience has been particularly gratifying.” He also revealed the decision to adjust ticket prices to make the film more accessible, with single-screen tickets priced at 99 rupees and multiplex tickets at 125 rupees. This adjustment follows consultations with over 200 exhibitors to ensure broader audience reach.
Sirish highlighted the film’s unique premise, noting, “While I consider myself the second hero, the teddy bear is truly the star of the film. Its action sequences are outstanding, and the film blends action, comedy, and thriller elements seamlessly.” He also mentioned that the teddy bear character, a fan of all heroes, includes some iconic dialogues, adding a special touch to the narrative.
Buddy, directed by Sam Anton and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja and Adhana Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green Films, features Gayathri Bharadwaj as the female lead and Neha Gnanavel Raja as co-producer. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 2, promising an entertaining experience for audiences.
