Malda: Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader, Amit Shah, conducted a roadshow in West Bengal’s Malda district on Tuesday, in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The roadshow commenced at approximately 1 pm in the Malda South constituency, beginning from Head Post Office More and concluding at the Rabindra statue.
Shah, accompanied by state BJP leaders, stood atop a decorated vehicle and greeted the assembled crowd.
Supporters of the BJP enthusiastically chanted slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah, with hundreds of individuals lining both sides of the route.
The Malda South constituency is scheduled to vote in the third phase of the elections on May 7.
