Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisive stance in his national address following the launch of Operation Sindoor, calling it a watershed moment in India’s counter-terrorism strategy.
Taking to social media platform X, Shah stated that Prime Minister Modi had clearly drawn the line for India’s adversaries by showcasing the bold military offensive that dismantled terrorist infrastructure deep within Pakistan’s territory.
“PM Shri @narendramodi Ji today demarcated the boundary for Bharat’s enemies through the example of #OperationSindoor, in which our armed forces razed the very edifice of terrorism in Pakistan’s backyard,” the Home Minister posted.
He paid tribute to the exceptional bravery of India’s armed forces, describing them as both the nation’s sword and shield, while also commending the courage of Border Security Force personnel—the first line of defense in the nation’s security architecture.
“We salute the unparalleled valour of our Armed Forces – the destroyers of our enemies and the shield of Bharat,” he said, adding, “The bravery of our forces will forever be etched in our glorious history.”
Shah also congratulated Prime Minister Modi for his “exemplary leadership” in delivering justice to the innocent lives lost in recent terror attacks, particularly referencing the brutal killing in Pahalgam that shocked the nation.
“Time and again, Modi Ji has proven that no enemy of Bharat can go unpunished,” he affirmed.
He concluded his message by urging citizens to watch the Prime Minister’s impactful address, sharing the official YouTube link, and emphasizing the zero-tolerance approach to terrorism now guiding India’s national policy.
“Our armed forces have made Pakistan shudder with their might and set a new normal of zero tolerance for terrorism. Modi Ji has reiterated our resolve that Bharat will strike back the very moment our enemies dare to make a mistake,” Shah noted.
PM Modi’s Address: A New Anti-Terror Doctrine
Earlier, in his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor and the subsequent ceasefire understanding with Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi unveiled what he described as a “three-pronged new normal” in India’s approach to tackling terrorism.
According to the Prime Minister:
- India will pursue terrorists and their infrastructure across borders if national security is threatened.
- Nuclear blackmail will not deter India’s response, signaling a strong stand against countries that shelter terrorists under the guise of nuclear deterrence.
- State-sponsored terror actors will be treated as combatants, placing them on equal footing with those who orchestrate or inspire terrorist activities.
The Prime Minister’s speech, widely shared on social media and national platforms, sent a powerful message not just to domestic audiences but also to the international community: India will no longer tolerate threats to its sovereignty or the safety of its citizens.
