Chiranjeevi to Receive ANR National Award During Centenary Celebrations
The Akkineni International Foundation has announced that the prestigious ANR National Award, instituted in honor of the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), will be presented to Megastar Chiranjeevi this year. The announcement was made during the centenary celebrations of ANR, highlighting the enduring legacy of one of Indian cinema’s most revered figures.
Nagarjuna Akkineni, a prominent member of the Akkineni family, shared the news with the media, stating, “We have decided to give the award to Chiranjeevi garu. When I revealed this to him, he felt so happy and emotional. He thanked us for considering him and expressed his joy that this recognition is being bestowed during the centenary year.”
