Beloved Telugu anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj has celebrated a major milestone: moving into her newly built family residence. Sharing a series of candid photographs on Instagram, Anasuya offered fans a glimpse of the heartfelt rituals that marked the housewarming ceremony.
“With the grace of Seetharamanjaneya, the blessings of our parents, and the love of you all, we begin a new chapter as ‘Shrirama Sanjeevani,’” she wrote, unveiling the home’s official name.
On the third of this month, Anasuya and her family invited a respected spiritual mentor to perform traditional homas (fire rituals), Sri Satyanarayana Swamy vrata (vow), and Marakata Linga Rudrabhishekam (a sacred anointing ceremony). During the ceremonies, the family asked their guru to suggest an auspicious name. After a moment of quiet prayer, he pronounced “Shrirama Sanjeevani,” a name the family joyfully embraced.
The evening took an unexpected turn when the guru, checking his phone, excitedly declared, “Anjaneya has arrived.” To Anasuya, this signified Lord Hanuman’s divine blessing on their home. She explained:
“From my earliest days, my father taught me to invoke ‘Jai Hanuman’ in moments of joy, sorrow, or fear. Today, I welcomed Hanuman not just in spirit but as a guardian of our new home.”
Anasuya also reflected on the spiritual significance behind her elder son’s name, Shaurya, which symbolizes the fire deity’s role as a messenger of the gods. She likened her home’s consecration to sending a message to the divine—honoring tradition and reinforcing her family’s faith.
Though she acknowledges that spirituality resonates differently for everyone, Anasuya closed her post with a quote from the devotee Prahlad:
“There is no doubt that He can do this or that. No matter what you see, He can do it.”
