YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) official spokesperson and well-known media personality Anchor Shyamala has come forward to voice her support for former Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Krishnamohan Reddy, following his recent arrest in connection with the ongoing Andhra Pradesh liquor scam investigation.
Calling the arrest “unwarranted,” Shyamala described Krishnamohan Reddy as a person of exceptional integrity and unwavering commitment to public service. She expressed deep disappointment over the development, asserting that his track record stands in stark contrast to the allegations.
“Krishnamohan Reddy has worked with visionary leaders like the late Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and current Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy—both of whom dedicated their lives to the people’s welfare,” she said. “He embraced their values, believing strongly that true service lies in supporting leaders who work for the betterment of society.”
She went on to affirm his reputation for honesty, saying, “His loyalty and moral standing are well known. I have no doubt that the truth will come out, and he will be vindicated.”
Anchor Shyamala further stressed the importance of recognizing and protecting individuals who commit themselves to principled public service. “Krishnamohan Reddy is one such individual—his contributions are genuine and cannot be overlooked,” she added.
As the investigation continues, Shyamala’s defense has drawn attention to the broader narrative of political accountability, loyalty, and the fine line between public service and controversy.
