With the new administration settling into power in Andhra Pradesh, the process of allocating nominated posts has picked up significant momentum. The state government has begun appointing chairpersons to key institutions as part of its broader governance roadmap.

According to official sources, Alapati Suresh, a prominent figure from the Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC), has been named the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Press Academy. Alongside him, Rayapati Shailaja, also from the JAC, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission—signaling the government’s intent to include civic voices in institutional leadership.

Earlier this week, appointments were finalized for the Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank (APCOB) and several District Central Co-operative Banks (DCCBs). The trend has continued with a new wave of key positions across various sectors.

Here are the latest appointments announced:

Newly Appointed Chairpersons:

  • Women’s Co-operative Finance Corporation: Peethala Sujatha (Bhimavaram, TDP)

  • Agro Industries Development Corporation: Malepati Subbanayudu (Kavali, TDP)

In a display of coalition inclusiveness, strategic posts were also given to leaders from allied parties:

Allied Party Appointments:
