Andhra Pradesh Government to Present First Full-Fledged Budget for 2025-26
The coalition government of Andhra Pradesh is set to present its first full-fledged budget for the financial year 2025-26 today. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav will introduce the budget in the Assembly at 10:00 AM, while Minister Kollu Ravindra will present it in the Legislative Council.
The state’s budget, which is estimated to be around ₹3.20 lakh crore, is expected to prioritize key initiatives, including the “Super 6” schemes and the construction of the new state capital in Amaravati. The primary aim of this budget is to improve the state’s financial condition and lay the foundation for future economic development.
Ahead of the budget presentation, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will chair a state cabinet meeting at 9:00 AM to approve the budget. Following the cabinet’s approval, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav will proceed with the formal presentation in the Assembly.
