Andhra Pradesh Approves Ticket Price Hike for Thandel Release
The Andhra Pradesh government has granted approval for a hike in ticket prices for the upcoming film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Set to release on February 7, the film, which is based on real incidents from the Uttarandhra region, has garnered significant attention.
The government has authorized an increase of ₹75 for multiplex tickets and ₹50 for single-screen theaters. This revised pricing, inclusive of GST, will be applicable for one week following the film’s release date. The decision comes after a formal request was made by the Thandel team, considering the film’s anticipated appeal.
