Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Meets Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde to Strengthen State Cooperation
Mumbai: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Maharashtra to meet with his counterpart Eknath Shinde at his residence on Sunday. The discussions primarily focused on enhancing cooperation between the two states across various sectors, including infrastructure and economics.
According to a statement from the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office shared on ‘X’, the meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra for mutual progress. Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Maharashtra PWD Minister Dada Bhuse, along with MP Shrikant Shinde, were also present during the deliberations.
Sources close to Shinde indicated that the chief ministers engaged in a comprehensive dialogue for nearly thirty minutes at Varsha, the official residence of the Maharashtra CM. The talks encompassed not only the current political landscape but also explored avenues for social, cultural exchange, and joint initiatives in infrastructure and digital advancements.
Both leaders, representing Shiv Sena and Telugu Desam Party respectively within the BJP-led NDA coalition, emphasized the significance of fostering robust ties between their states.
This meeting underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen interstate relations and promote collaborative ventures aimed at fostering economic growth and development across Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
