The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has released the schedule for the Class 10 supplementary examinations. The supplementary exams are set to be conducted from May 24 to June 3.
This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 86.69%. Notably, female students have outperformed their male counterparts, securing a pass percentage of 89.17% compared to 84.32% for male students.
Out of the 6,16,615 students who appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Class 10 board exams this year, 5,34,574 students have successfully cleared the examination. The results are now available on the official website at bse.ap.gov.in.
The main examination was conducted from March 18 to 31 in a single session, from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.
Students wishing to appear for the supplementary examinations can register through their respective schools. Additionally, students who are unsatisfied with their results can apply for re-verification or re-counting of their marks.
This year witnessed a substantial rise in the number of schools achieving a 100% pass rate, with 2,803 schools in Andhra Pradesh achieving this milestone compared to 933 schools in the previous year. However, 17 schools reported a zero pass percentage.
Parvathipuram Manyam district secured the highest pass rate at 96.37%, while Kurnool district recorded the lowest pass rate with only 62.47% of students passing the exam.
Among the 11 categories, AP residential schools and AP BC welfare residential schools topped the list with a pass percentage of 98.43%. Government schools registered a pass rate of 74.40%.
Private unaided schools achieved a pass rate of 96.72%, whereas private aided schools had 80.01% of students
