Ashu Reddy Opens Up About Brain Surgery Recovery and Resilience
Actress and Bigg Boss personality Ashu Reddy, who underwent brain surgery last year, has been recovering well and is back on set for her shooting schedules. Recently, Ashu shared a touching video on her Instagram account, showing herself receiving treatment in the hospital during her surgery. Accompanying the video, she wrote a heartfelt caption: “This is life, isn’t it? Please be kind to others. Learn to remain grounded instead of flying too high. That way, many people will benefit.”
The post quickly gained attention across social media platforms, with fans expressing admiration and support. One fan commented, “You are very brave. May God bless you with more strength. You are a fighter.”
Despite doctors advising a six-month rest period following her surgery, Ashu defied expectations and returned to work just two months later, saying that staying active with her career has played a crucial role in her recovery.
In an emotional interview, Ashu reflected on her surgical experience. She recalled how part of her hair had to be shaved for the operation, and when she saw her appearance in the mirror afterward, she feared her career might be over. “It would have been better if it had all been removed completely, but they shaved only half. When I looked at myself in the mirror at that time, I thought my career was over,” she tearfully shared.
Ashu Reddy first gained attention through her viral Dubsmash videos and later rose to further prominence after interviewing controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. She also participated in Bigg Boss seasons 3 and OTT Non-Stop. Her filmography includes roles in movies like Chal Mohan Ranga, Boyfriends for Hire, and A Masterpiece. Her resilience and strength have inspired many, and her recovery journey is a testament to her determination and spirit.
