New Delhi: Bibhav Kumar, an aide to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested on allegations of assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal, is currently being transported to Mumbai for the retrieval of data from his formatted iPhone, police confirmed on Tuesday.
Kumar is presently in judicial custody for five days in connection with the alleged assault on Maliwal, who is a Rajya Sabha MP, at the Chief Minister’s residence in Delhi.
According to police sources, Kumar had formatted his phone before transferring the data to another individual or device located in Mumbai. Although his mobile phone was confiscated following the arrest, investigators discovered that it had been formatted.
