Meenakshi appeared in the song “Spark” from Superstar Vijay’s highly anticipated movie, The GOAT, and in the first single “Gulledu Gulledu” from Vishwaksen’s Mechanic Rocky. Unfortunately, both tracks have struggled to garner the positive attention anticipated.
“Spark,” composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has been particularly underwhelming, with criticism directed at both the music and Vijay’s visual presentation. Similarly, “Gulledu Gulledu,” composed by Jakes Bejoy, failed to make a significant impact.
In contrast, other actresses such as Janhvi Kapoor and Bhagyashree Borse have managed to make a lasting impression despite the music’s reception. For instance, Janhvi’s appearance in the song “Chuttamalle” from Devara was well-received, even when the tune did not captivate audiences. Bhagyashree’s performance in the song “Sitar” garnered attention for her striking look, despite the song’s mixed reviews.
Meenakshi, however, has yet to achieve the same level of acclaim. The reception to her looks in “Spark” and “Gulledu Gulledu” has been less favorable, with critics and fans expressing disappointment.
