Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu Kickstart ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’ Shoot
Nandamuri Balakrishna, fondly known as the “God of Masses,” has been a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry for over five decades, captivating audiences with his magnetic screen presence and a string of monumental blockbusters. Alongside director Boyapati Sreenu, Balakrishna has delivered massive hits such as Simha, Legend, and Akhanda, each film cementing their successful collaboration.
Their previous venture, Akhanda, became a record-breaking success, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its sequel. In response to this excitement, the makers recently confirmed the title for the much-awaited sequel, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam.
The filming of Akhanda 2 has officially begun, with a grand action sequence shot at the Ramanaidu Film City (RFC). True to Boyapati Sreenu’s signature style, renowned action choreographers Ram and Laxman are meticulously overseeing the action sequences, ensuring the film’s high-octane energy and mass appeal.
The movie, which promises to be another high-budget spectacle, is slated for release during the festive season of Dussehra on September 25, 2025. Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta, and presented by Tejaswini Nandamuri, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is set to continue the legacy of its predecessor, with fans eagerly awaiting another blockbuster collaboration between Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu.
