Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has pledged swift action to repatriate the mortal remains of Bandi Vamshi, a Telugu student from Hanamkonda district, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the United States.
The tragic incident came to light when fellow students discovered Vamshi’s lifeless body in a car parked in the cellar of his residence. The students immediately informed Vamshi’s family members in India, sparking concern and distress among his loved ones.
Bandi Sanjay, upon being informed of the situation by local BJP leaders, took immediate steps to assist the grieving family. He reached out to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s office via email, urging prompt intervention to facilitate the repatriation of Vamshi’s body to India.
Before taking this step, Sanjay also contacted Vamshi’s father, Rajayya, and his brother, Suman, to gain a clearer understanding of the circumstances surrounding the death. During these conversations, the Union Minister reassured the family that every effort would be made to bring their loved one back to India as quickly as possible.
