In the wake of the Indian Army’s bold and successful “Operation Sindoor,” which struck terrorist strongholds across the border, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a massive nationwide outreach campaign—the Tiranga Yatra. This patriotic initiative will roll out on May 13 and continue for eleven days, concluding on May 23.
According to senior BJP sources, the campaign aims to honor the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces and showcase the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party intends to bring citizens from all walks of life together in a celebration of national pride and unity.
To fine-tune the logistics and messaging, top party leaders have been in strategic discussions. On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP National President J.P. Nadda met to outline the core objectives. On Monday, Nadda further reviewed preparations with senior leaders Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, and Dushyant Gautam, finalizing the campaign roadmap.
The Tiranga Yatra is expected to see participation from a wide spectrum of party members—including Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, grassroots leaders, and dedicated volunteers. The yatra will be held across states, aiming to foster public engagement and deepen the emotional connect with the nation’s recent military triumph.
Party insiders describe the campaign as not only a tribute to the valor of the armed forces but also a call to unity, national security, and unwavering patriotism.
