BJP Warns Akhilesh Yadav on Congress Alliance, Asserts Strong Stand in UP
Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delivered a stern caution to Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav regarding his party’s alliance with the Congress during the inaugural session of the party’s state executive in Lucknow on Sunday. UP BJP president Bhupendra Chaudhary criticized the Congress, asserting that it lacks a strong base and ideology of its own, relying on alliances to secure victories.
Chaudhary emphasized that historically, the Congress has failed to benefit weaker sections and Dalits, a sentiment echoed by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. He urged the SP, a party rooted in the principles of Lohia, to align with its ideological roots.
Highlighting key achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Chaudhary praised the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya after 500 years and the revocation of Article 370, underscoring these as milestones in India’s history. He also noted the resurgence of traditional cultural practices like Kanwar Yatra under the current administration.
Chaudhary reiterated the BJP’s commitment to upholding the dignity of every party worker, stressing there would be no compromise on this principle.
