Mokshagna Teja Set to Debut in Film Directed by Prashanth Varma
Nandamuri scion Mokshagna Teja, son of renowned actor Balakrishna, is poised to make his acting debut, following in his father’s illustrious footsteps. The announcement of his debut film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Varma, has sparked excitement among Nandamuri fans, especially after Varma’s success with the pan-India blockbuster Hanu-Man.
While the formal launch of the much-anticipated project is expected soon, the production team is actively searching for a fitting onscreen partner for Mokshagna. Reports suggest that there is a focus on casting a young starlet from Bollywood, fueling speculation about potential candidates. Although Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rashi Thadani, has been mentioned as a frontrunner for the role, sources indicate that this remains unconfirmed, with Varma keen on securing a well-known Bollywood actress.
As the search continues, rumors abound regarding the film’s genre, which is expected to blend mythology and socio-fantasy, featuring high-end VFX reminiscent of Varma’s previous work. Notably, there are indications that Balakrishna will also play a significant role in this project.
The film is being produced jointly by Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini and SLV Cinemas, promising a big-budget entertainer that is slated to hit theaters in 2025. With high expectations and a talented team, Mokshagna’s entry into the film industry is one to watch.
