Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thandavam Gears Up for Grand Dussehra Release
The sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda, titled Akhanda 2: Thandavam, is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, the film is being mounted on a grand scale with a bigger budget, promising even more intensity and visual splendor than its predecessor.
Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, Akhanda 2 is directed by Boyapati Sreenu, who is currently in Georgia to scout visually striking locations for key sequences in the film. The scenic locales are expected to enhance the film’s rich visual appeal, adding depth and dynamism to its powerful narrative.
Celebrating his birthday in the midst of work, director Boyapati Sreenu is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Akhanda 2 surpasses expectations. Known for his flair in action-packed mass entertainers, Boyapati’s commitment to scale and detail is evident in the film’s pre-production efforts.
The sequel features Samyuktha as the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty joins the cast in a pivotal role. Renowned cinematographers C. Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae are handling the film’s visual storytelling, and acclaimed composer S. Thaman returns to helm the music, following his widely appreciated score in the first installment.
