Case Filed Against Jagan for Violating MCC During Guntur Visit
A case has been filed against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the president of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during his visit to the Guntur Mirchi Yard. Despite clear instructions from the Election Commission and the Guntur District Collector advising against such a visit due to the ongoing MLC elections, Jagan proceeded with the visit.
The complaint, filed at the Nallapadu Police Station in Guntur, names Jagan Mohan Reddy and several key party members, including Ambati Rambabu, Kodali Nani, Lella Appireddy, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, and Nandigam Suresh. The complaint accuses them of disregarding the directives of the Election Commission and district election authorities by organizing the event. This incident has sparked a legal challenge regarding the violation of election guidelines during a crucial electoral period.
