“Jagan Seeks CBI Court Approval for Overseas Travel Post Andhra Pradesh Polls”
In light of the ongoing disproportionate assets cases, Jagan Mohan Reddy has submitted a request to the CBI court for authorization to travel abroad following the conclusion of polling in Andhra Pradesh. The court convened on May 9th to deliberate on the matter, hearing arguments from both Jagan’s legal representatives and the CBI’s counsel. However, a ruling was not issued during the session.
The CBI court has deferred its decision on Jagan’s travel request to May 14th, the day after the Andhra Pradesh polls, extending the suspense regarding his potential foreign excursion. Jagan has proposed departure on May 17th and return on June 1st, pending approval from the court, which is anticipated on May 14th.
