CM Chandrababu Naidu Emphasizes Zero Tolerance for Corruption; Reviews Public Feedback on Government Services

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reiterated his government’s firm stance against corruption, directing officials to take swift and decisive action wherever malpractice is detected. Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Camp Office in Undavalli on Saturday, the CM evaluated public feedback gathered on the performance and implementation of various government schemes during the first year of the administration.

CM Naidu emphasized the need for technical auditing of citizen feedback to ensure transparency and accountability. “Public satisfaction must be enhanced in areas where problems have been identified. We must focus on resolving key issues like welfare delivery, job creation, road infrastructure, and improve services to the elderly and differently-abled at their doorstep,” he said.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to clean governance, he also instructed departments to conduct regional studies on the effectiveness of the free sand policy, especially where concerns have been raised.

Snapshot of Citizen Satisfaction Across Key Services

As per feedback collected via IVRS and CSDS surveys, public perception of the coalition government’s performance has largely been positive across most departments. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

Welfare Pensions

  • 85% reported no corruption
  • 87.8% confirmed home delivery of pensions
  • 93.3% said the service was efficient and hassle-free

Anna Canteens

  • 80.5% appreciated cleanliness
  • 79.3% rated food quality as good
  • 80.8% satisfied with punctual service

Healthcare Services

  • 68.4% satisfied with general medical care
  • 71.3% pleased with staff behavior
  • 65.5% satisfied with free medicine availability

Ration Distribution

  • 75.1% received rations monthly
  • 73.8% found the quality satisfactory

Police & Drug Issues

  • 27.4% acknowledged drug-related problems in their area
  • 54.5% said police responded effectively

Temple Facilities

  • 68% happy with amenities
  • 77.7% rated prasadam quality positively

APSRTC Services

  • 69% satisfied with bus punctuality
  • 72.4% praised staff conduct
  • Cleanliness (53.4%), water facility (45.2%), and toilet maintenance (56%) received moderate scores

Municipal Services

  • 68.1% satisfied with door-to-door garbage collection
  • 57% felt garbage was cleared within 24 hours

Women’s Safety

  • 27.8% cited harassment in public spaces
  • 56.3% expressed satisfaction with police response

Deepam-2 Scheme

  • 62.8% stated that agencies were not charging extra

Sand Distribution

  • 70.6% satisfied with registration process
  • 61.1% said pricing was reasonable

Registration Services

  • 63.4% satisfied with slot booking
  • 62.3% reported no corruption

Revenue Services

  • 77.4% said extra charges were not imposed
  • 75.1% felt land surveys were conducted fairly

NTR Medical Services

  • 86.2% happy with hospital care
  • 82.4% praised Arogya Mitra assistance

Electricity Supply

  • 61.6% confirmed uninterrupted power

Panchayat Services

  • 56.7% said waste was collected regularly

Fertilizers and Seeds

  • 60.9% said fertilizers were available
  • 63% received seeds on time
