Veteran leader N. Chandrababu Naidu has once again been unanimously elected as the National President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), reaffirming his long-standing leadership within the party. The announcement was made by Varla Ramaiah, chairman of the party’s election committee, at the TDP’s annual conclave, Mahanadu.
Following the declaration, Naidu formally took oath and assumed leadership once more, marking three decades since he first took charge of the party in 1995. Party leaders, including ministers, MLAs, and senior members, extended their heartfelt congratulations, celebrating both his re-election and his enduring influence in Andhra Pradesh politics.
The TDP, known for its structured internal democracy, conducts its presidential elections every two years. However, Naidu’s consistent re-election since 1995 is a testament to the trust and confidence the party cadre continues to place in his leadership.
Naidu’s leadership journey has shaped the TDP into one of the most prominent political forces in the Telugu states. His reappointment signals continuity and strategic focus as the party gears up for upcoming political challenges.
