CM Chandrababu Naidu to Visit Tirupati Following Stampede Incident, Offer Condolences and Compensation
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Tirupati today in the wake of the tragic stampede that occurred recently. His visit aims to meet the victims undergoing treatment at the Ruia and SVIMS hospitals and offer condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. The Chief Minister will also announce compensation for both the deceased and the injured.
According to official reports, Naidu will begin his journey at 11:00 AM from his residence in Undavalli, departing by helicopter. He is expected to reach Vijayawada airport at 11:10 AM and then board a flight to Tirupati, with the flight landing by 12:00 PM. Upon arrival, the Chief Minister will visit both hospitals between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to meet the injured, assess their condition, and offer support.
In addition to meeting the victims, Naidu will also hold a review meeting with the Executive Officer (EO) and other officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to discuss the incident and measures for future safety.
Following these engagements, the Chief Minister will depart from Tirupati at 3:00 PM, returning to Vijayawada by 3:45 PM. He is expected to arrive at his residence in Undavalli by 4:00 PM after a brief helicopter ride.
