Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his support for the Union Budget 2025-26, praising the central government and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a budget he believes is beneficial and progressive.
In his response, Naidu highlighted that the budget aligns with the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the budget prioritizes key sectors such as women’s welfare, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment, and support for farmers. These efforts, according to Naidu, reflect a forward-looking approach to development.
Naidu further lauded the strategic allocations aimed at long-term growth, spanning across six key sectors, and he pointed out that the budget is designed with a focus on sustainable development over the next five years.
The Chief Minister also praised the tax relief provisions for the middle class, a vital demographic that forms the backbone of the nation’s economy. He concluded by welcoming the budget as a comprehensive and promising roadmap for a prosperous future, reinforcing his belief in the importance of inclusive growth.
“This budget marks a crucial step towards national welfare. It serves as a comprehensive and precise blueprint for a prosperous future for our country. I wholeheartedly welcome this budget,” Naidu remarked in a tweet.
