Andhra Pradesh Government Launches NTR Bharosa Pension Distribution Program
Ahead of the first day of the new month, the Andhra Pradesh government has launched the distribution of pensions under the NTR Bharosa pension scheme, benefiting millions of citizens across the state. A total of ₹2,717 crores has been allocated for 63,77,943 beneficiaries, with pensions already distributed to 90% of the intended recipients by midday.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu personally participated in the program, beginning with a visit to Yalamanda village in Palnadu district. He met Saramma, a widow who lost her husband during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, and personally handed over her pension. In addition, the Chief Minister took a keen interest in her family’s well-being, directing officials to arrange NEET coaching for her daughter, who is pursuing intermediate studies. Naidu also instructed the SC Corporation to provide financial support to her son, offering a ₹1 lakh loan and ₹2 lakh as a subsidy to help him establish a mobile phone shop.
In another heartwarming gesture, Chandrababu Naidu visited the home of Edukondalu, another pension beneficiary. Demonstrating his personal touch, the Chief Minister prepared coffee for the family before handing over their pension, further solidifying his commitment to ensuring the welfare of the state’s residents.
The NTR Bharosa pension distribution program reflects the state government’s commitment to supporting its citizens, particularly those in vulnerable circumstances, and ensuring timely financial assistance.
