Chiranjeevi’s #Mega157 Officially Launched with Grand Ceremony
The much-awaited film #Mega157, starring the legendary Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by the talented Anil Ravipudi, was officially launched today with a grand pooja ceremony, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Ugadi. The film, produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, is a collaboration with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments and is presented by Smt. Archana.
The event marked a momentous occasion, with Victory Venkatesh clapping the board for the film’s muhurat shot, Allu Aravind switching on the camera, and veteran director K Raghavendra Rao directing the first shot. The ceremony also witnessed the presence of several leading figures from the Telugu film industry, including producers Dil Raju and Shirish, who handed over the script to the film’s team.
Notable industry personalities, such as Naga Vamsi, Vikram from UV Creations, Director Vassishta, Srikanth Odela, Bobby, Shiva Nirvana, Vamshi Paidipally, Mythri Naveen and Ravi, Shirish, Aswini Dutt, Ram Achanta, Sharrath Marar, Vijayendra Prasad, KS Rama Rao, and others, graced the event, further elevating its prestige.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, known for his string of back-to-back blockbusters, #Mega157 is expected to be a high-energy entertainer. Ravipudi’s most recent release, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, earned massive success grossing over ₹300 crore, and now, he aims to create another hit with this film. The screenplay promises to present Chiranjeevi in a fresh, dynamic avatar, where he plays the character of Shankar Varaprasad.
Blending humor, emotion, and action, #Mega157 is set to cater to audiences of all age groups. The technical team behind the film comprises some of the same core members who contributed to the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy will manage the visuals, and music director Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the soundtrack. Editing will be handled by Tammiraju, while S Krishna and G Adi Narayana will take care of the script. Executive producer S Krishna will also oversee additional dialogues, which are written by Ajju Mahakali and Tirumala Nag.
The film will also feature production design by A S Prakash and visual effects by Narendra Logisa. With Naveen Garapati as the line producer and Vamsi Shekar as the PRO, marketing for the film is being managed by Haashtag Media.
Regular shooting for #Mega157 is set to begin soon, and with a talented team and a powerful star-director combination, expectations are high for this full-scale entertainer.
