Chiranjeevi and Family Share Heartfelt Memories in Special International Women’s Day Video

On March 8, as the world celebrates International Women’s Day, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family marked the occasion by releasing a special video titled Mega Women. The video features Chiranjeevi, his brother Nagababu, their mother Anjana Devi, and their sisters Madhavi and Vijaya, reflecting on their family history and sharing personal stories about the women in their lives.

Chiranjeevi, in a candid conversation with his family, recalled a memorable incident from his childhood. As the eldest among his siblings, he shared how, at just three years old, he had wandered out of the house and ended up on the street. “I started crying, and a blacksmith noticed me and took me to his shop. By the time my mother arrived, I was covered in soot and unrecognizable. She almost left, thinking I was someone else’s child, but then realized it was me. To prevent me from wandering off again, she tied a rope around my leg,” he recounted. Drawing a humorous parallel, Chiranjeevi joked, “Even Lord Krishna was tied up like that as a child. Maybe all great people have a habit of wandering off like this.”

Chiranjeevi also shared an emotional and lesser-known chapter of his life. He spoke of the heartbreaking loss of his sister, Rama, when he was in sixth grade. “Rama was unwell, and we took her to the hospital. She passed away two days later. We carried her body home in our arms and, with the help of our neighbors, completed the final rites,” he said, revealing the family’s resilience during such a difficult time.

His mother, Anjana Devi, took the opportunity to offer valuable advice about family bonding on International Women’s Day. “Family unity is essential. We must support and care for each other. Love and warmth seem to be fading in today’s times, but I am grateful that my bond with my children and daughters-in-law remains strong,” she remarked. She also fondly spoke about her relationship with Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, who she considers like a daughter.

Nagababu, offering insight into their family dynamics, revealed a touching detail about their mother’s special affection for their brother, Pawan Kalyan. “Pawan was physically weak as a child. Our mother always paid extra attention to him, cooking his favorite dishes and caring for him more than the others,” he shared, adding that Pawan Kalyan was considered the “special kid” in their household.

The Mega Women video beautifully captures the bond of love, respect, and unity shared among the Chiranjeevi family, making it a fitting tribute to the women in their lives on International Women’s Day.
