Telugu cinema icon Chiranjeevi has extended heartfelt congratulations to the winners of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024, while also commending the Telangana government for restoring a significant cultural tradition. Expressing his gratitude in a public statement, the veteran actor said,

“Heartfelt congratulations to all those who have been selected for the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards. This recognition from the state government is not only valuable but also deeply inspiring for every actor and technician in the creative field. The revival of this wonderful tradition by the Telangana government is a strong encouragement to the industry. I sincerely thank Hon’ble Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the ministers, officials, and the awards committee.”

Chiranjeevi’s message resonated across the film fraternity, with top actors Allu Arjun and NTR Jr. also expressing their happiness over the announcement. Both actors conveyed their appreciation to the Telangana government for reinstating the prestigious awards named in honor of revolutionary poet and activist Gaddar.

Among the notable winners was the film ‘Committee Kurrollu,’ produced by Niharika Konidela, which bagged the award for Best Feature Film on National Integration, Religious Harmony, and Social Upliftment of the Downtrodden. The film’s team, including the producer and cast, celebrated the recognition and highlighted the importance of storytelling that bridges societal divides.

The Gaddar Film Awards, reinstated after a hiatus, aim to celebrate excellence in Telugu cinema while honoring films that reflect the social values and ethos championed by Gaddar. The 2024 edition has been widely welcomed by the industry as a move that not only honors cinematic talent but also encourages socially conscious filmmaking.
