Chandrababu Naidu Reaffirms Commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s Development and Minority Welfare at Semi-Christmas Celebration
Despite facing numerous challenges, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his dedication to improving the state and prioritizing its development. Speaking at the Semi-Christmas celebrations in Vijayawada on Monday evening, Naidu addressed various issues, offering reassurances to minority communities and highlighting his government’s commitment to their welfare.
Naidu acknowledged the difficulties faced over the past six months, emphasizing that despite tireless efforts, resolving the damage caused during the previous five years remained an ongoing challenge. However, he assured the Christian community of the coalition government’s full support, particularly with regard to the long-delayed construction of the Christian Community Building in Guntur, a project neglected by the previous administration.
Reflecting on the contributions of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Naidu recalled that it was under his leadership that financial assistance was provided for Christians traveling to Jerusalem. He also criticized the previous government for failing to complete crucial construction projects and for creating significant challenges for Christian-affiliated educational institutions.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of collective efforts to reduce economic disparities in the state, reiterating his commitment to the safety, security, and development of minority communities. He assured the public that his coalition government would continue to prioritize their progress and well-being.
During the celebrations, Naidu participated in the traditional Christmas cake-cutting ceremony and extended his heartfelt wishes to the Christian community and all those present.
