Andhra Pradesh CM Presents ₹25 Lakh to Cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy for Outstanding Performance in Australia
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today presented a ₹25 lakh cheque to young cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy in recognition of his exceptional performance during a recent cricket tour of Australia. The cheque was handed over during a meeting at Undavalli, where Nitish, along with his father, Muthyala Reddy, met the Chief Minister to celebrate his achievements.
Nitish Kumar Reddy earned widespread attention for his all-round performance in the Australia tour, particularly for his brilliant century, which was seen as a testament to his talent and dedication. His outstanding contributions to the team were acknowledged by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), which announced a reward of ₹25 lakh to honor his remarkable achievement. ACA President and TDP MP Kesineni Srinivas (Chinni) was also present at the event, facilitating the cheque presentation by the Chief Minister.
In addition to presenting the cheque, Chandrababu Naidu took to social media to laud Nitish’s achievements. The Chief Minister praised the young cricketer, writing on Twitter, “I met our extraordinarily talented young cricketer, Nitish Kumar Reddy, today.
