Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Concludes Singapore Visit Ahead of WEF Davos Participation
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has successfully concluded his visit to Singapore, with the state delegation wrapping up their engagements ahead of their participation in the upcoming World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos, Switzerland, scheduled from January 20 to 22.
During their time in Singapore, the delegation held productive discussions with key business representatives, including officials from the Singapore Business Federation. Notable interactions included meetings with Pradeep, CEO of the Indian Ocean Group, as well as senior officials from DBS Bank, Blackstone, and the Meinhardt Group. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was accompanied by IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Jayesh Ranjan, Special Secretary of the IT and Industries Department, during these important engagements.
The Telangana delegation’s visit was focused on fostering business relationships and exploring investment opportunities in line with the state’s ambitious economic goals. The Telangana government aims to attract significantly higher investments during the WEF summit, building on its previous success of securing ₹40,000 crore in investments. As part of their strategy, the delegation intends to showcase Hyderabad as a “Future City” and highlight the state’s newly introduced Clean and Green Energy Policy as part of its sustainable growth initiatives.
The state’s participation in the WEF conference is expected to further enhance its position on the global investment map, with the delegation working to strengthen ties with international business leaders and global investors. The focus on sustainability, innovation, and Hyderabad’s growth potential will be key themes for the Telangana government at the summit.
