Telangana Assembly Sessions Begin with Key Bills and Early Arrival of CM Revanth Reddy
The Telangana Assembly sessions commenced today at 10 AM, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy arriving an hour earlier to prepare for the day’s proceedings. The session began with the Question Hour, followed by an in-depth discussion on the Bhumi Bharati 2024 Bill, which is expected to receive approval.
In addition to the Bhumi Bharati Bill, CM Reddy is set to introduce three other important bills today. These include the Telangana Municipalities Amendment Bill and the GHMC Amendment Bill, which will be presented by the Chief Minister. Following that, Minister Seethakka will introduce the Panchayati Raj Amendment Bill.
As part of the day’s agenda, the Assembly will engage in brief discussions on these bills. CM Revanth Reddy, who arrived early, intends to engage Congress MLAs, MLCs, and officials in preliminary talks about pressing issues such as Bhumi Bharati and Rythu Bharosa. The Chief Minister is expected to provide guidance to his party members ahead of the discussions in the Assembly.
