New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the police are scheduled to visit his residence on Thursday to interrogate his elderly and ill parents.
While Kejriwal did not specify the reason for the police visit, it is believed to be related to the Swati Maliwal assault case.
“Today, Delhi Police will come to interrogate my old and ill parents,” Kejriwal stated in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Swati Maliwal has accused Kejriwal’s personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, of assaulting her when she visited the Chief Minister on May 13. The police have registered a case and subsequently arrested Kumar in connection with the incident.
