New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accompanied by his wife Sunita and Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, participated in a religious ceremony at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place, central Delhi, on Saturday.
Following his release from Tihar jail on interim bail, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Kejriwal visited the historic temple to offer prayers.
Kejriwal was joined by prominent AAP leaders, including Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj.
On Friday, upon his release from Tihar Jail, Kejriwal expressed gratitude to Lord Hanuman and called for public support in his “struggle against dictatorship.”
Later today, Kejriwal is scheduled to conduct a press conference at the AAP office at 1 pm, followed by two roadshows in the South Delhi and East Delhi parliamentary constituencies.
