Amaravati: Pawan Kalyan Appointed Deputy Chief Minister and Takes on Key Portfolios in Chandrababu Naidu’s Government
As announced by prominent figures such as Megastar Chiranjeevi and BJP leader JP Nadda, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan will serve as the sole Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the Chandrababu 4.0 government.
According to reports from sources in Amaravati, Pawan Kalyan is expected to take on three ministerial portfolios: Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Forest and Environment. Despite being a first-time minister, it is believed that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has confidence in Pawan Kalyan’s ability to manage these three departments effectively due to his understanding of the subjects.
In addition to Pawan Kalyan’s appointment, two other members of Janasena are expected to be assigned ministerial roles. Nadendla Manohar is likely to be given the Civil Supplies portfolio, while Kandula Durgesh might become the Minister of Tourism and Cinematography for Andhra Pradesh.
These portfolios come with significant responsibilities, and it remains to be seen how Janasena will perform in governance.
