Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa Gears Up for Release After Censor Clearance
The highly anticipated mythological epic Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead role, is just three days away from its theatrical release. Directed by Bollywood filmmaker Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film features a star-studded ensemble and is one of the most talked-about projects in recent times.
Kannappa recently completed its censor formalities. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film a U/A certificate, but not without suggesting changes. The original runtime submitted by the makers was 195.02 minutes. However, following feedback from the board, several scenes were trimmed, reducing the film’s duration by approximately 12.11 minutes.
With these edits, the final runtime now stands at 183 minutes (3 hours and 3 minutes). The completion of censor procedures has heightened excitement among fans and moviegoers, who are eagerly awaiting to witness this ambitious tale unfold on the big screen.
The film features an impressive lineup of pan-Indian talent, including Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. With a blend of mythology, grandeur, and star power, Kannappa is poised to make a significant impact at the box office. As the countdown begins, all eyes are now on June 27, when Kannappa officially hits the big screens across India.
