AAP Celebrates 12th Foundation Day, Kejriwal Vows to Continue Fight for Constitution and Democracy
On the 12th anniversary of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), party supremo Arvind Kejriwal reflected on the journey of the party, attributing its strength to its core values of honesty and love for the people. Speaking on the occasion, Kejriwal asserted that despite numerous attempts to undermine the party over the past year, AAP has only emerged stronger. He emphasized that the party’s resolve to protect the Constitution and democracy would continue unwavering.
In a post shared on X, Kejriwal recalled how the AAP’s foundation was built on the struggles, sacrifices, and victories of ordinary citizens. He commended the tireless efforts of party workers, noting that their spirit and dedication had been key in overcoming the challenges they faced.
The Delhi Chief Minister further stated that the party stood firm against injustice and dictatorship and was ready to fight for the people’s rights. He called on party leaders and workers to remain committed to working for the betterment of the country.
Senior party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also marked the occasion, highlighting the “revolution” AAP had sparked 12 years ago. She noted that the common man’s hope for change through politics of work had been fulfilled under Kejriwal’s leadership. Atishi expressed the party’s determination to improve the lives of ordinary citizens and help India emerge as the number one nation globally.
