Former Joint Director (JD) of CBI, VV Lakshminarayana, previously associated with the Janasena party and contested the Vizag parliamentary constituency on its ticket, later parted ways to establish his own political outfit, the Jai Bharat Party. In the recently concluded 2024 elections, he contested under his party’s banner.
Post-election, JD Lakshminarayana provided his analysis on Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan’s performance in the Pithapuram constituency. “Based on current information, Pawan Kalyan garu’s victory in Pithapuram appears secure. The focus now centers on the margin of his win. This election seems to be a comfortable one for Pawan, who has proven his merit for assembly membership,” remarked Lakshminarayana.
Since his departure from Janasena in 2019, JD had been critical of Pawan’s leadership qualities, expressing skepticism about following him. However, his recent remarks have portrayed a shift in tone, emphasizing Pawan’s strong prospects in Pithapuram and highlighting discussions solely on the expected majority of his victory.
