Dil Raju Confirms ‘Game Changer’ Release Date, Fans Concerned Over Slow Promotions
Producer Dil Raju has officially announced that Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Game Changer will premiere on Christmas Eve. Despite the confirmed release date being four and a half months away, fans have expressed concern over the lack of promotional activities for the film.
In a recent update, the film’s team celebrated Kiara Advani’s birthday by unveiling a new poster featuring her character’s name. However, the poster only displayed a still from the song “Jaragandi,” rather than introducing her in a new look alongside Ram Charan, as fans had hoped.
Director Shankar is currently focused on completing the final shooting schedule with other artists, having finished Ram Charan’s scenes. The film’s post-production work is set to begin soon in Chennai, with the first copy expected to be ready for re-recording shortly.
Given the film’s significant budget of 300 crores and its pan-India scope, many believe that promotional efforts should commence earlier to build adequate buzz. With the film being in production for over three years and currently lacking substantial public anticipation, the slow rollout of promotional content has raised questions.
While the film’s promotional strategy remains under tight control, with new content being released only upon Shankar’s approval, some argue that a more aggressive marketing approach could be beneficial. Engaging the audience well in advance of the release might help generate the excitement needed for a film of this scale.
