On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid solemn tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the creation of the state. In a commemorative ceremony held at Gun Park in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister placed a floral wreath at the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial, honoring their enduring legacy.
He was joined by senior state leaders, ministers, and officials, all of whom offered their respects as a mark of gratitude for the sacrifices made during the Telangana movement.
The tribute ceremony marks the beginning of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations, which commemorate the state’s official formation on June 2, 2014, following decades of sustained struggle and advocacy.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy reaffirmed the government’s commitment to realizing the aspirations of those who fought for Telangana’s statehood. He emphasized that the administration remains dedicated to inclusive growth, social justice, and honoring the spirit of the movement.
