Hyderabad Police Commissioner Reviews Bonalu Festival Arrangements at Lal Darwaja and Akkanna Madanna Temples
Kothakota Srinivasa Reddy, Commissioner of Hyderabad Police, visited Lal Darwaja Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple and Akkanna Madanna Temples on Friday to oversee security and traffic arrangements ahead of the Bonalu festival.
During his visit, Srinivasa Reddy extended festival greetings to devotees and expressed his happiness over the traditional Sikhara Pooja and flag hoisting ceremony at Lal Darwaja Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple. He invoked blessings for the prosperity of Telangana state and its residents.
Looking ahead to the Bonalu festival and Ambari processions, he announced the deployment of 1000 police personnel to ensure the safety and security of devotees. He emphasized that the police, in coordination with other government departments, will strive to minimize inconvenience to devotees during the festivities.
