The Indian Navy has opened applications for its prestigious 10+2 (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme for 2025, inviting unmarried men and women to apply for Permanent Commission (PC) officer roles in Executive and Technical branches. Selected candidates will undergo a four-year BTech program at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, and will be commissioned as officers upon successful completion.

Vacancies & Eligibility
- Total Vacancies: 44
- Women Candidates: Up to 6 seats available
- Date of Birth Range: Applicants must be born between July 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009 (inclusive).
- Branch Allocation: Finalized at INA based on service requirements and candidate preferences.
Educational & Examination Criteria
- Must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with:
- Minimum 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
- At least 50% marks in English (in either Class 10 or 12)
- Only candidates who appeared for JEE (Main) 2025 (B.E./B.Tech) are eligible.
- Shortlisting for the SSB interview will be based on the All India Common Rank List (CRL) issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and SMS.
- SSB interviews will be conducted in September 2025 at centers in Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on SSB scores, and candidates must be medically fit for appointment.
- Final selection is subject to document verification and availability of vacancies.
Training & Benefits
- Selected cadets will pursue a four-year BTech degree in:
- Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
- The Indian Navy covers all training expenses, including tuition, study materials, clothing, and meals.
- Candidates must remain unmarried throughout the training. Failure to comply will lead to disqualification and recovery of training costs.
