Director Prashanth Varma’s Premature Publicity Raises Concerns
Prashanth Varma, the director behind the recent hit film “HanuMan,” appears to be generating significant anticipation for his forthcoming projects, despite a lack of concrete progress.
Following the unexpected success of “HanuMan,” Varma has reportedly postponed other projects, including the launch film for DVV Danayya’s son. However, he conducted a test shoot with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and widely publicized the event in the media. Ultimately, Singh departed from the project for undisclosed reasons.
Currently, Varma is generating excitement around a new film featuring Nandamuri Mokshagna, the son of a prominent Telugu film star, even before substantial details have emerged. Industry experts caution that such premature hype may not be prudent, as many debut films of star children in Tollywood have not met expectations.
The excessive publicity surrounding projects in their nascent stages risks overhyping the films and setting unrealistic expectations. It is hoped that Prashanth Varma is mindful of these potential pitfalls.
