Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has made significant remarks regarding Prashant Kishor, the strategist who spearheaded his 2019 election campaign. During his visit to the I-PAC office today, Jagan emphasized the collective effort of the I-PAC team over individual contributions, stating that Prashant Kishor’s role is minimal in comparison.
Expressing optimism for the 2024 elections, Jagan predicted a favorable outcome for the YSR Congress Party, surpassing the achievements of the 2019 polls with an expected increase in MLA and MP representation.
Asserting confidence in the prowess of the I-PAC team, Jagan suggested that their efforts would lead to a resounding victory in 2024, surpassing even Prashant Kishor’s expectations.
Jagan’s assurance of continued collaboration with I-PAC for the 2029 elections contrasts with the evolving dynamics of his relationship with Prashant Kishor. From the emotional embrace following the 2019 victory to the current portrayal of Kishor’s diminished significance, the trajectory of their association has seen a notable shift. Notably, Kishor’s recent projection of a significant decline in YCP’s electoral fortunes, suggesting a decrease in MLA seats to potentially 51 or fewer, stands in contrast to Jagan’s optimism.
