YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Offers Support to Posani Krishna Murali’s Family Following His Arrest
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, extended his support to Kusumalata, the wife of actor Posani Krishna Murali, following his arrest by Andhra Pradesh police. Jagan reassured Kusumalata, encouraging her to remain strong during this challenging time. He told her, “God is watching everything. Stay strong; we are all with you.” Jagan also mentioned that party leaders, including Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, were sent to the court to show their support for Posani.
Posani Krishna Murali was arrested at his Hyderabad residence and transferred to the Obulavaripalle police station in Annamayya district. His arrest follows a complaint filed by Jana Sena leader Jogimani, who accused him of making inappropriate remarks about Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his family. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under Sections 196, 353(2), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In his comments, Jagan Mohan Reddy also reflected on the political situation in the state, stating that the current oppressive governance would not endure for long. His remarks highlight the ongoing political tensions in Andhra Pradesh as the legal proceedings surrounding Posani’s case unfold.
