YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Assures Pawan Kumar of Justice in Future
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, recently visited Pulivendula, where he extended his support to the party’s social media activist, Pawan Kumar. Jagan assured Pawan that the party would come to power in the next three years and promised that the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Circle Inspector (CI) involved in his case would be forced to salute him when that time arrived. These remarks were made during Jagan’s visit, where he consoled Pawan Kumar.
The controversy surrounding Pawan Kumar began when the Pulivendula police registered a case against him following a complaint from Sunil Yadav, the second accused in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. Pawan Kumar, who manages a WhatsApp group called “YS Avinash Anna Youth,” was taken into custody and questioned in connection with the investigation.
Pawan Kumar alleged that during the investigation, both the DSP and CI had physically assaulted him. Expressing his distress, Pawan sought solace from Jagan Mohan Reddy, who responded with assurances of justice. “Once we come to power after three years, I will make that DSP and CI salute you. Until then, stay strong,” Jagan reportedly said to Pawan.
In addition to the ongoing investigation, the police have also issued a notice under Section 41A, summoning Pawan Kumar for further questioning. As the political and legal developments unfold, Pawan Kumar continues to stand by his claims, while Jagan Mohan Reddy has pledged to ensure justice is served when his party assumes power in the future.
